Quality Control

BSS' quality control program was developed to ensure that all contractual requirements are met or exceeded and when implemented properly provide the client with a self correcting process that ensures full compliance and value on each dollar spent on security services.

A 100% contract inspection will be conducted every month by a BSS Area Supervisor and/or a corporate member and a full report will be written and forwarded for the review of the Contract Administrator. The inspection will include the following items: regular detailed inspections of all posts, job knowledge, personnel files, training certifications, criminal history records, historical performance data, timesheets, and billing documents and provide the Contract Administrator with a report of all findings and any corrective actions taken. Upon submission to the Contract Administrator a BSS corporate officer will contact the Contract Administrator to set an appointment to review BSS’ contract performance.

All time sheets will be reviewed on a weekly basis for accuracy and completeness by the supervisor. They will then be forwarded to the corporate personnel for an added layer of review and finally forwarded to the Contract Administrator in accordance with the terms of the contract for payment. BSS considers supervision and their Quality Control program to be a value added service to the contract and the costs associated with these programs is not passed on to the client.

Border Security Solutions will maintain a binder, a copy of which will be provided to the Contract Administrator for his or her review (at their request), on each officer assigned to the facility. The binders will include a personnel certification index that lists each certification, date of completion and expiration, and will be updated as needed.

The Quality Control Monitor will review all paperwork generated during the month of inspection for accuracy and completeness. A formal report listing the findings will be submitted to the Contract Administrator no later than the fifteenth of the following month in which the QC inspection was conducted.

All security officers hired by BSS are fluent in English and will be able to communicate with the client as well as their internal and external clientele. Each officer assigned to the contract will have at a minimum: a high school education or GED; possess two years experience in the security field; be able to read, understand, apply rules, follow detailed orders, instructions and training materials; be 21 years of age; be able to communicate effectively in oral and written form; and be able to properly perform all duties required by the contract.
